Ryan Murphys upcoming series The Beauty has officially set its debut date and revealed several new guest appearances, including frequent Murphy collaborator John Carroll Lynch. The show will premiere on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, airing simultaneously on the FX cable network and Hulu. Internationally, the series will launch on Disney+ on the same date.
The first three episodes will be released consecutively at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with the following eight episodes rolling out weekly each Wednesday. The final two weeks will feature back-to-back episodes, giving viewers a double dose of suspense as the story reaches its climax.
Series Synopsis
The Beauty explores the dark underbelly of the fashion world, where international supermodels start dying under mysterious and brutal circumstances. FBI agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) travel to Paris to investigate these deaths. Their inquiry uncovers a sexually transmitted virus that grants ordinary people the appearance of physical perfection, but at a horrifying cost.
The investigation leads the agents into conflict with The Corporation, headed by shadowy tech billionaire Ashton Kutcher. He has developed a miraculous drug called "The Beauty" and will go to any lengths to protect his trillion-dollar empire, including deploying a deadly enforcer known as The Assassin (Anthony Ramos).
As the outbreak spreads, Jeremy (Jeremy Pope), an outsider searching for meaning, becomes entangled in the chaos. The agents pursuit takes them across Paris, Venice, Rome, and New York as they attempt to prevent a global crisis that could redefine humanity. The Beauty challenges viewers to consider what they would sacrifice in the pursuit of perfection.
