Protect the dolls: Mariah Carey selling jacket to support GLAAD

Mariah Carey is giving fans a chance to purchase a unique piece of her stage wardrobe while supporting an important cause. The pop icon wore a custom pink jacket adorned with sparkling embellishments and the slogan "Protect the dolls" during her performance at the Pride in the Park Music Festival in Brighton, England last summer.

The phrase on the jacket has become a symbol of solidarity with transgender women, appearing in various LGBTQ events, including performances at the MTV VMAs where drag queens displayed pro-trans rights messages featuring the term "dolls."

The jacket is now available through an eBay auction, with all proceeds going directly to GLAAD, the leading global LGBTQ media advocacy organization. The auction opens on December 8 and closes on December 15 at eBay.com/glaad, starting with a bid of just 99 cents. Funds raised will specifically support GLAADs Transgender Media Program.
