That was true once again at the 2025 Gotham Film Awards, where the singer and Fenty Beauty founder appeared unexpectedly alongside her fashion-forward partner, A$AP Rocky.

Over recent weeks, Rihanna has favored a black-and-white palette, but she completely changed course for the Gotham Awards, arriving in a vivid bubblegum pink ensemble that defied typical winter fashion norms.

The striking outfit, designed by Balenciaga, featured a strapless bodice with a rounded, voluminous shape that narrowed at the waist and flowed into an equally dramatic skirt, finishing in a long, sweeping train. Complementing the gown, Rihanna wore a feathery light-pink hat and added ruched black leather gloves. Her jewelry included a gold necklace set with pink and purple stones, teardrop earrings, and a diamond ear cuff by Briony Raymond.

A$AP Rocky opted for a classic black suit by Chanel, consisting of a long blazer and straight-leg trousers. He left the jacket open to reveal a white dress shirt paired with a black-and-white striped tie. His ensemble was completed with black quilted leather shoes featuring the Chanel logo, a matching tote, and diamond earrings.
