Sharna Burgess Shares If She Parents Husband Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox's Kids Differently Than Son Zane

Sharna Burgess has opened up about whether she approaches parenting her stepchildren differently than she does with her own son. The 40-year-old professional dancer addressed the topic while interacting with fans on her Instagram Stories on Friday, Dec. 5.

Burgess shares her 3-year-old son, Zane, with husband Brian Austin Green and is also the stepmother to his four older children: Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, Journey, 9, from his marriage to Megan Fox, and Kassius Lijah, 23, from a previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.

When asked if she treats her stepkids differently, Burgess replied, "I don't, I'm the same parent to them as I am to Zane. Same rules (age depending), same love, same affection. Same desire to give them a life full of opportunity and love and set them up for success."

She emphasized the importance of fairness, stating, "I've always made it a point since Zane came along to be mindful of this. I would never want them to feel put aside or treated differently."

Earlier in September, Burgess shared a rare glimpse of Green and Fox's sons on social media. She posted a Reel celebrating Zane's first day of pre-K, showing him holding a sign while his older half-brothers cheered him on. The clip concluded with Burgess dropping Zane off at school, visibly emotional. She praised the older children for supporting Zane, writing, "His siblings hyped him up this morning as you can hear, and we all went to support his first morning drop off. My blended tribe is my everything. We are so lucky."

In April, Burgess also posted photos of the entire blended family together, including snapshots of Zane with his older siblings. One photo captured the group enjoying ice cream at a gelato shop, with Green holding Zane and Burgess playfully posing with her cone. She captioned the post, "As of late still not over slide 8 ."
