The Jonas Brothers Reflect on Returning to Camp Rock: 'Grateful for Those Movies'

The Jonas Brothers are taking a nostalgic trip back to their Disney Channel roots by reprising their roles as Connect 3 for Camp Rock 3. The upcoming film is set to join the 2026 streaming lineup, sparking excitement among longtime fans.

In honor of their 20th anniversary as a band in 2025, the brothers reflected on their journey and the impact of the original Camp Rock movies. Kevin Jonas shared his feelings about returning to the set: It was incredible. Seeing the original cast on the Final Jam stage again brought back so many memories. Im so thankful those movies happened and that Joe was cast first, which led to Nick and me joining as well.

Joe Jonas also described his emotional reaction upon revisiting the set: I was overwhelmed with emotion. I didnt expect to be hit like that. It really brought back a flood of memories.

The film, announced in September, is being filmed in Vancouver under Disney Branded Television. In Camp Rock 3, the brothers characters search for the next big act after losing their opening performer during a major reunion tour.

Nick Jonas reflected on the experience, saying, Its special to look back at the first Camp Rock in 2007 and remember how intense our lives were at that time. The original movie came as the Jonas Brothers were gaining momentum with their debut album, Its About Time, and their collaboration with Disney marked a major step in their rise to fame.

Before starring in Camp Rock, the brothers had performed Disney classics on Radio Disney and made appearances on shows like Hannah Montana. The new installment will feature fresh talent while the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato return as producers, ensuring continuity with the original films.

Fans can catch Camp Rock and other Disney Channel classics on Disney+, which offers an ad-supported plan starting at $11.99 per month or an ad-free plan at $18.99 per month.

With new projects, including holiday-themed films, the Jonas Brothers continue to celebrate their legacy while creating new memories for fans. Camp Rock 3 promises to be a heartfelt addition to their Disney Channel journey.
