During the Paris robbery, Simone was asleep on the first floor of a two-story apartment when the intruders arrived. She woke up to the sound of Kim pleading for her life upstairs. Simone recalled that the sound was terrifying and unlike anything she had heard from Kim before. She immediately locked herself in the bathroom and contacted Kourtney Kardashian and the familys bodyguard for assistance. After the robbers left, Kim ran to Simone, visibly shaken and panicked.

Simone explained that the traumatic experience led to post-traumatic stress and fear of being around celebrities, which eventually influenced her decision to pursue interior design professionally.
