Three Days Grace Achieves 20 Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1s, Becoming Second Act

Three Days Grace has become only the second band ever to achieve 20 chart-toppers on Billboards Mainstream Rock Airplay list, securing their milestone with Kill Me Fast on the survey dated December 13. This track marks the bands third consecutive No. 1 in 2025, following Januarys Mayday and Julys Apologies.

The Canadian rock group first claimed the top spot on Mainstream Rock Airplay in 2004 with their second single, Just Like You. Their debut chart entry, [I Hate] Everything About You, had reached No. 4 in 2003. The first ten No. 1s were earned with original frontman Adam Gontier, followed by seven under Matt Walst, with the latest three featuring both vocalists after Gontiers return.

With 20 No. 1s, Three Days Grace now ranks second in the history of the 44-year chart, trailing only Shinedown, which has 21. Shinedowns Searchlight is currently highlighted as the Greatest Gainer at No. 29 on the same December 13 chart.

It is also nearing the Alternative Airplay chart and appeared at No. 15 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart (dated December 6), with a debut peak of No. 13 on August 9. The track has accumulated 543,000 official U.S. streams.

The bands eighth studio album, Alienation, which includes these three new No. 1 hits, launched at No. 2 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart in September and has totaled 96,000 equivalent album units so far.
