Two Key Performers Withdraw from Good Things 2025, Festival Continues with Substitutes

Just days before the festivals start, Good Things has experienced a major lineup disruption as The All-American Rejects and Knocked Loose announced they will be unable to perform in Australia due to urgent family matters. The announcement came late Tuesday evening through official statements from both bands and festival organisers.

Expressing their regret, The All-American Rejects shared, We are heartbroken to cancel our Australian shows due to a sudden family loss. Family must come first. Similarly, Knocked Loose emphasised their commitment to fans while confirming they would not be appearing, noting, We do not take cancelling lightly, but family is our priority. We are planning to return soon.

This would have marked The All-American Rejects first Australian visit in 16 years, making the cancellations particularly disappointing for longtime fans. Nevertheless, many supporters have responded with understanding and compassion.

Good Things Festival Responds

Replacement Acts Announced

To fill the sudden gaps, two popular Australian bands have been added to the lineup for 2025:

• Stand Atlantic will take over The All-American Rejects slot
• Alpha Wolf will replace Knocked Loose on the Main Stage at 3:30pm in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane
