On December 5, Miley Cyrus revealed that composing "Dream as One" for Avatar: Fire and Ash presented a unique challenge. The 33-year-old singer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday to discuss her involvement in the film's soundtrack.

She added that director James Cameron envisioned the track as "intimate, personal, and emotional." "'We Dream as One' felt monumental to me, which made it tricky to craft a song that could feel intimate without competing with the film's epic scale," she said.

The song also reflected Cyrus's own journey of recovery and renewal after a fire, serving almost like a musical diary entry for her.

During a recent Good Morning America interview, she highlighted how the movie's themes of love resonated with her personal life. Cyrus confirmed her engagement to Maxx Morando, with whom she has been in a relationship for four years, and shared her engagement ring on Kimmel.
