Ant Anstead Creates a 'Core Memory' with 6-Year-Old Son Hudson on Thanksgiving

Ant Anstead spent Thanksgiving creating cherished moments with his 6-year-old son, Hudson. The British TV personality documented the special day when Hudson experienced fishing for the first time.

Sharing the experience on Instagram, Anstead wrote, "This weeks core memory making (first time fishing) and Hudzo caught TWO fish all by himself!! We found a Florida bridge, but no idea what fish they are???? We carefully put them back what a special Thanksgiving."

Photos showed Hudson beaming as he cast his fishing rod over a bridge, successfully catching two fish. Anstead captured the moment by lifting and hugging his son, celebrating the memorable day together.

Details about whether Anstead spent the holiday with his longtime girlfriend, Rene Zellweger, remain unclear. He shares Hudson with his ex-wife Christina Haack, while also being a father to Amelie, 22, and Archie, 19, from a previous relationship.

Pre-Thanksgiving Boys' Weekend

The weekend prior, Anstead treated his sons to a trip to Las Vegas, describing it as "the most fun boys trip ever!" He shared on Instagram: "Road trippin from Laguna to Las Vegas for F1 weekend! We have laughed so hard! Building some amazing moments and memories! The race was wild! Controversial ending and the Venetian was utterly spectacular! Wizard of Oz at the Sphere was crazy! Hudzo was mesmerized! He hasnt stopped talking about it! And Archo basically ate his way round Vegas! This was one for the books for sure! My heart is FULL! Plotting the next road trip with my boys already x"

Past Thanksgiving Reflections

Last year, Anstead shared a quieter holiday experience, highlighting the importance of disconnecting. He posted a screenshot showing an average of six minutes of phone use per day that week, writing, "After a few months of endless crazy travel it was the PERFECT Thanksgiving week spent mostly on the couch wearing PJs with excess food in my face! Switching off and disconnecting Felt quite rare! And highly recommended! Happy Thanksgiving x x."

Celebrating with Rene Zellweger

In previous years, Anstead celebrated Thanksgiving with Zellweger and his children. Since meeting on the set of Celebrity IOU: Joy Ride in 2021, they have shared three Thanksgiving holidays together. In 2023, Anstead posted photos of their table setup, including handwritten name cards for himself, Hudson, and Zellweger, and expressed gratitude for spending the day with loved ones: "So much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! In September, Anstead and Haack reunited to celebrate Hudson's 6th birthday.
