A 23-year-old man has been brought before court accused of attempting to kill one person and injuring three others in the centre of Altrincham, Greater Manchester.

The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday on Railway Street. A 21-year-old man was hospitalized with chest injuries and is currently in a serious but stable condition.

Another male in his twenties sustained severe facial injuries described as "life-changing." In addition, a 51-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.

Nathan Peters, 23, appeared earlier at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court. He faces charges of attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm, and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
