Apple Music Replay set to be released this week. Here's what we know

The annual season for sharing your music habits is approaching. Apple Music Replay, Apples counterpart to Spotify Wrapped, may launch this week, following trends from previous years. Last year, the charts were dominated by Kendrick Lamar and Drake amid their diss track feud, alongside Sabrina Carpenters controversial hits. Other notable artists topping the Replay charts in 2024 included Taylor Swift, rising country star Shaboozey, and newcomers Benson Boone and Teddy Swims.

While the release date for the 2025 Replay report has not been confirmed, Apple Music subscribers can soon explore which artists, albums, and genres they favored throughout the year. Apple has remained tight-lipped about the details, including the official launch date. Replay usually becomes available between late November and early December.

Apple Music Replay: What It Offers

Apple Music Replay, similar to Spotify Wrapped, provides an annual summary of users listening activity. Tracks are compiled into a personalized playlist, showcasing the songs, artists, and albums that defined the year. Apple collects data starting in February, tracking total listening minutes and generating a comprehensive report by December.

The feature began as a weekly update in 2019 and evolved in 2022 into an annual format comparable to Spotify Wrapped. Replay delivers insights on top tracks, favorite artists, and most-played albums.

Tyler, the Creator: 2025 Artist of the Year

Tyler, the Creator has been named Apple Musics 2025 Artist of the Year. Highlights from his performances include Coachella 2024, OutKasts Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2025, and his 2012 Reading Festival appearance. Fans can revisit these moments through Apple Musics Replay experience.

Accessing Your Replay Report

iPhone users with iOS 18.1 or later can access Replay directly through the Music app under "Home" or "Listen Now." Non-iPhone users or those without the app can view their report at replay.music.apple.com using their Apple ID email. The report is presented as a slideshow where users can click play to explore their year in music.
