Super Bowl Sunday is gearing up for an unforgettable celebration of music and culture. The NFL has confirmed that Charlie Puth, Brandi Carlile, and Coco Jones will headline the pre-game lineup, performing before kickoff at Levis Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8, 2026. The event will be broadcast live on NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock.

Joining the pre-game talent is previously announced halftime performer Bad Bunny, who will lead the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in a much-anticipated musical spectacle.

Pre-Game Performers

Charlie Puth, 33, will deliver the national anthem. The multi-platinum singer-songwriter, known for hits like "Attention," "We Dont Talk Anymore," and "See You Again," has accumulated over 35 billion career streams. His Super Bowl performance comes just weeks ahead of his fourth studio album, Whatever's Clever!, releasing on March 6, 2026.

Brandi Carlile, an eleven-time Grammy winner, will perform "America the Beautiful". Carlile, 44, is also an Oscar nominee, two-time Emmy winner, bestselling author, and activist. Her latest album, Returning to Myself, follows her Grammy-nominated collaboration with Elton John, Who Believes in Angels?

Coco Jones, 27, will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing". Jones, winner of the 2024 Grammy for Best R&B Performance with her platinum track "ICU," has earned eight nominations in total, including a 2026 nod for Best R&B Album for her debut Why Not More? She also stars as Hilary Banks in Peacocks Bel-Air.

Inclusive Sign Language Performances

This years pre-game entertainment will prominently feature American Sign Language (ASL) renditions by Deaf artists. Fred Beam will sign both "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "Lift Every Voice and Sing," while Julian Ortiz will interpret "America the Beautiful." For the first time, the Halftime Show will include a multilingual signing segment in Puerto Rican Sign Language, led by Deaf Puerto Rican performer Celimar Rivera Cosme. All ASL collaborations are produced with Alexis Kashar of LOVE SIGN and Howard Rosenblum of Deaf Equality.

Bad Bunny to Headline Halftime Show

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martnez Ocasio, will headline the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show. He expressed in a statement, "What I'm feeling goes beyond myself this is for my people, my culture, and our history." While his Spanish-language performance has sparked both enthusiasm and criticism, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell defended the choice, highlighting Bad Bunnys global popularity and cultural significance. Jay-Z, serving as the leagues music entertainment strategist, also praised Bad Bunnys contributions to Puerto Rico and the global music scene.
