Parkway Drive's Australian 'Park Waves' Festival Tour Cancelled

In disappointing news for Australian heavy music enthusiasts, promoters Destroy All Lines have confirmed that the first-ever PARK WAVES Festival the metalcore-carnival tour curated by Parkway Drive scheduled for February and March 2026 has been officially cancelled.

The touring festival, which was set to feature Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, Northlane, Alpha Wolf, and Story Of The Year across 11 regional cities under a large circus-style tent, will no longer take place.

Organisers shared a statement today, saying: Were devastated to confirm the Park Waves Festival Australian tour will not go ahead. The cancellation is due to a combination of challenges, and ultimately, the numbers no longer stack up. With a heavy heart, weve had to make a difficult decision. Weve tried everything. Were gutted. We know everyone will be understandably disappointed. The ticket price and booking fees will be refunded, and more information will be sent to ticketholders via email. To anyone who bought tickets, and to everyone who keeps showing up for live music thank you.

This cancellation is a major disappointment for fans who were anticipating a unique event: Parkway Drive and The Amity Affliction performing together regionally, supported by a star-studded lineup and an elaborate travelling circus production designed by the Byron Bay band.

Park Waves promised to be one of Australias boldest festival ideas in years a full-scale, 16+ roaming mini-festival inspired by the Warped Tour and Parkways international festival of the same name. Attendees could have expected carnival rides, circus performers, sideshow acts, and major heavy music acts all in one venue.

Despite strong interest, Destroy All Lines explained that financial constraints made the tour unviable. All ticketholders will receive full refunds, including booking fees, with additional details to be emailed directly.

The promoters expressed gratitude to everyone involved, saying: Massive love to everyone who poured their heart into this the fans, the crew, the bands, and the team behind the scenes trying to make something special happen in an increasingly challenging climate for live music.
