Rüfüs Du Sol Break Records with Best-Selling Electronic Tour of All Time

Grammy-winning Australian trio Rfs Du Sol have achieved a historic milestone in live music. The group has been officially recognized for conducting the highest-grossing electronic tour ever, following their Inhale / Exhale World Tour that spanned multiple continents and broke numerous attendance records.

This week in Sydney, Live Nation and Untitled Group presented the band with a commemorative plaque honoring the achievement. The tour sold 750,000 headline tickets and reached 1.5 million fans worldwide through a combination of festival appearances and headline performances in 2025.

Success Across Australia and New Zealand

The Australia and New Zealand leg was a highlight for the band. Over 180,000 tickets were sold across cities including Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland, with all shows completely sold out. During this run, Rfs Du Sol became the top-selling Australian act ever at Sydneys Qudos Bank Arena and set a record-breaking attendance of 25,000 fans at Aucklands Outer Fields at Western Springs.

Critical and Commercial Acclaim

The Inhale / Exhale album era has solidified the trios standing in both commercial and critical circles. Their fifth studio album earned a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album and received four nominations at the 2025 ARIA Awards. The album debuted on the Billboard 200 and delivered the bands first U.S. dance radio No. 1 with the single Music Is Better.

Global Touring Milestones

Rfs Du Sols tour encompassed nearly 50 headline shows across four continents, marking a rare achievement for an electronic act by performing in venues typically reserved for legacy or multi-genre artists. Historic moments included being the first electronic act to headline Los Angeles Rose Bowl, alongside appearances at major festivals such as Lollapalooza. The band is currently the only electronic act performing on such a large global scale.

Upcoming Tour Dates

Following the plaque presentation in Sydney, Rfs Du Sol is set to continue touring into 2026. New European arena dates have been added in Dublin, Dusseldorf, and Bologna, with major performances at Londons The O2, Paris Adidas Arena, and Barcelonas Palau Sant Jordi. South American dates kick off in February, followed by a spring European leg. Complete tour details and ticket information are available at rufusdusol.com/live.
