Billboard 200 Methodology

The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. each week based on multi-metric consumption, including album sales, TEA, and SEA, as compiled by Luminate. One unit equals one album sale, 10 tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid streams from album songs. Data is reviewed and verified before final chart publication.
