House Republicans Issue Subpoena to Jack Smith

WASHINGTON Members of the Republican Party in the House of Representatives have formally issued a subpoena for Jack Smith, requesting his testimony on Capitol Hill later this month. According to the subpoena from the House Judiciary Committee, Smiths legal team has confirmed his willingness to comply with the request.

In an accompanying letter, the committee stated, The Judiciary Committee is continuing its oversight of the Office of Special Counsel under your leadership, particularly focusing on your offices prosecutions of former President Donald J. Trump and associated defendants. Based on discussions with your counsel, we understand you are available for a deposition on December 17, 2025.
