The IDF's Duvdevan commando unit apprehended a central arms dealer near Tulkarm following a targeted counterterrorism mission based on intelligence provided by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency). The military confirmed the arrest on Sunday, identifying the suspect as Ahmed Nasrallah.
Nasrallah was detained in Irtah and subsequently handed over to Shin Bet authorities for detailed questioning. Duvdevan, known for conducting undercover counterterrorism activities in the West Bank, executed the operation in coordination with intelligence sources.

Joint Operation in Jenin Foils Planned Attack
In a separate operation, IDF soldiers and officers from the Israel Police Counterterrorism Unit (YAMAM) arrested five individuals planning an attack in the Barta'a area near Jenin. The detainees were part of a larger cell dismantled by Israeli security forces, according to a joint statement from the military, Shin Bet, and Israel Police on Sunday.
Shin Bet Exposes Hamas-Linked Weapons Network
Earlier, the Shin Bet revealed a network of Israeli citizens based in Kafr Kassem and Rahat who, allegedly on behalf of Hamas, transferred weapons and funds into the West Bank over recent weeks. The network was reportedly orchestrated by Ahmed Tzarzur, an Israeli national residing in Turkey.
The suspects were apprehended in coordinated operations with the Israel Police, and indictments are anticipated in the coming days. Investigators say Tzarzur used family and social connections to recruit local collaborators and establish a secretive supply route for arms and money into the West Bank.
