Powerball drawing for top 10 jackpot tonight. How much do tickets cost?

The upcoming Powerball drawing on Saturday, December 6, has an estimated jackpot of $820 million, marking it as the eighth-largest jackpot in Powerball history. The cash payout option is valued at $383.5 million.

Ticket Prices

A single Powerball ticket costs $2. Players can add the Power Play for an extra $1, which multiplies non-jackpot winnings. Additionally, the Double Play option is available for $1 more, offering a secondary chance to win up to $10 million.

When and Where to Buy Tickets

The drawing occurs at 10:59 p.m. ET every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Tickets are sold in 45 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. You do not need to be a U.S. citizen or resident to play. Tickets are available at gas stations, convenience stores, supermarkets, and online through state lottery websites such as Ohio Lottery. Sales close one to two hours before the drawing, depending on local regulations.

How to Play

Players choose five white-ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. Numbers can be selected manually or generated randomly by the terminal. Winnings are determined by matching numbers in one of nine possible ways.
