Spotify Wrapped 2025: Release Date and How to Access

The time has come for Spotify to unveil its annual Wrapped feature, offering users a detailed look at their listening habits over the past year. The streaming platform has advised users to update their apps to ensure they can enjoy the full Wrapped 2025 experience once it becomes available.

When launched, Wrapped 2025 can be found on the home screen of the Spotify app for both iOS and Android devices, as well as on the desktop version. Spotify first introduced Wrapped in 2016, and it has since become a popular way for fans to see their top songs, albums, artists, podcasts, and more, often sharing their results on social media.

The new edition is expected to go live in the coming days. Users are anticipating improvements following last years criticism that the feature leaned too heavily on AI-generated content instead of offering engaging insights.

How to View Your Personal Spotify Wrapped

Spotify Wrapped is available exclusively for subscribers. Typically, the feature appears automatically when the app is opened. If not, users can visit Spotifys website or navigate to the Home section in the app to access their Wrapped summary.

There has been some confusion in the past about whether tracks listened to after October are included. Spotify confirmed in October 2023 that any music played beyond October 31 is counted toward the years Wrapped data.

Trends from Spotify Wrapped 2024

Last year, female artists dominated the charts, with Taylor Swift recognized as the most-streamed artist. The top five albums were all by women, including works by Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Karol G, and Ariana Grande.

In podcasts, Joe Rogans The Joe Rogan Experience topped global charts for the fifth consecutive year, followed by Call Her Daddy, Huberman Lab, This Past Weekend with Theo Von, and The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett.

Spotify also started tracking audiobooks and authors in Wrapped, with Sara J. Maas leading the most-streamed authors, followed by J.R.R. Tolkien and Stephen King.
