All you need to know about Season 2 of 'Paradise' as premiere date and teaser are unveiled

Excitement returns to Paradise! On December 6, during Brazil Comic Con, fans got a first look at a new teaser and the official premiere date for the second season, with creator Dan Fogelman and stars Sterling K. Brown and Shailene Woodley on stage.

The highly anticipated second season of the Emmy-nominated series will debut on Monday, February 23, launching with three episodes, followed by weekly releases on Hulu. The first season garnered four Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor for Brown, Supporting Actress for Julianne Nicholson, and Supporting Actor for James Marsden.

Season 2 Sneak Peek

At San Diego Comic-Con in July, Fogelman, Brown, and Woodley presented the opening scene from Season 2. The segment is set before the catastrophic events that decimated most of the world. Woodley portrays a tour guide at Graceland, taking viewers through her daily activities, sharing Elvis trivia, caring for horses, and interacting with a colleague. Woodley shared her enthusiasm, saying she had quickly binged the first season and felt instantly connected to the material. She noted that her preparation was brief, making her performance intuitive and genuine.

Fogelman revealed that Brown and Woodleys characters would spend part of the season apart, though their paths would cross. In the teaser, Xavier (Brown) embarks on a quest to find his wife, Teri (Enuka Okuma), and discovers how humanity survived the three years following The Day. Meanwhile, in Paradise, the community faces the fallout from the previous season as new mysteries about the citys origins surface.

Cast and Crew

Alongside Brown and Woodley, the main cast includes Julianne Nicholson, Enuka Okuma, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans. Recurring roles feature James Marsden, Thomas Doherty, and Jon Beavers.

The series is created and executive-produced by Dan Fogelman, with Brown, Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, Steve Beers, Glenn Ficarra, and John Requa also serving as executive producers.
