In the upcoming second season of Paradise, Sterling K. Browns character, Xavier, embarks on a mission to find his wife, Teri, with the new trailer highlighting his dramatic emergence on Earths surface. The preview for Season 2, returning to Hulu on Monday, Feb. 23, opens with Xavier waking up inside a burning aircraft seemingly lodged in a tree, where only his seatbelt prevents him from falling.

As Xavier releases himself from the seatbelt, he slides down the planes aisle, landing awkwardly and expressing his pain. His quest to locate Teri is set against warnings from a mysterious voice cautioning him that the world outside is simply no longer survivable there is a lot that you dont know.

The trailer also offers the first look at Shailene Woodleys character, shown observing through a telescope amid extreme weather conditions. Additionally, new cast member Thomas Doherty makes his debut.

Meanwhile, in Paradise, Julianne Nicholsons Sinatra undergoes a lie detector test, monitored by Sarah Shahis Gabriela, declaring, It was never just about the bunker.

Created by Dan Fogelman, Paradise returns with three episodes on Feb. 23, followed by weekly releases on Hulu and Hulu with Disney+ bundles in the US, as well as on Disney+ internationally. Season 2s storyline centers on Xaviers search for Teri and the survival of humanity three years after The Day, while the bunker faces internal strife and uncovers hidden secrets about the citys origins.

Alongside Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, and Sarah Shahi, the cast includes Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans. James Marsden also returns in a recurring role alongside newcomers Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Jon Beavers.
