Chad Spodick, Former Star of 'Finding Prince Charming,' Passes Away at Age 42

Chad Spodick, known for his appearance on the reality series Finding Prince Charming, has died at the age of 42. The news was shared through a GoFundMe page created by a friend on Thursday, December 4.

Our hearts are broken as we announce the tragic loss of our loving and generous son, brother, and friend, Chad, wrote Kate Werbowski on behalf of Spodicks mother, Felice Harwood. His death was sudden and incomprehensible. We are still struggling to imagine a world without his light.

The tribute continued: Chad was someone who gave wholeheartedly to others. He uplifted his friends, encouraged self-growth, and inspired everyone to recognize their own value. His devotion to animals was extraordinary, especially for his four dogs and his bird, Cosmo. Life was brighter with Chad, and those fortunate enough to know him felt his warmth every day.

Spodick is survived by his mother, who is now facing both profound grief and unexpected financial responsibilities for funeral arrangements and daily living expenses. The GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support these needs, as well as the care of Chads beloved pets.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference and help relieve some of the burden on his family during this difficult time. If donating isnt possible, sharing the fundraiser is deeply appreciated, the page states. As of Friday, December 5, the campaign had raised over $14,000 toward its $20,000 goal.

The cause of Spodicks death has not been disclosed.

Reality TV Career

Spodick gained recognition in 2016 when he appeared on the single-season Logo TV dating show Finding Prince Charming, hosted by Lance Bass. Contestants competed for the affection of Robert Seplveda Jr. After leaving the show voluntarily, Spodick publicly criticized Seplveda Jr. for allegedly pursuing eliminated contestants, despite choosing Eric Leonardos as his winner.

Beyond reality television, Spodick worked in the airline industry for more than two decades. His recent social media posts often highlighted moments with his pets and experiences from his work travels. Friends and fans responded to his last Instagram post from November 21 with condolences and heartfelt messages, remembering him as a kind and loving soul.
