Netflix has revealed details about the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie featuring Cillian Murphy, including its official title and release schedule. The film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, will debut in theaters on March 6, followed by streaming on Netflix on March 20.

A promotional poster depicts Tommy Shelby (Murphy) on horseback against a misty backdrop, his eyes hidden beneath a cap and his face streaked with blood.

The official synopsis reads: "Birmingham, 1940. Amidst the turmoil of World War II, Tommy Shelby is forced to return from self-imposed exile to confront his most devastating challenges. With the fate of both his family and the nation hanging in the balance, Tommy must face his inner demons and decide whether to embrace his legacy or destroy it completely."

Cillian Murphy reprises his role as the infamous gypsy gangster Tommy Shelby. The ensemble cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck, Jay Lycurgo, Barry Keoghan, and Stephen Graham.

The movie continues the story from the six-season TV series Peaky Blinders, which later inspired a sequel series set in the 1950s. Series creator Steven Knight stated, "The story remains rooted in Birmingham, portraying a city emerging from the aftermath of the Birmingham Blitz. The new generation of Shelbys takes the reins, promising an intense journey."
