Disney schedules release of Searchlight's 'Super Troopers 3' for August 2026

Disney has announced that Searchlight Pictures Super Troopers 3 is slated to hit theaters on August 7, 2026. This update comes as part of a broader reshuffling of the studios release calendar, which also includes postponing the second Simpsons movie to September 2027.

Additionally, Marvel Studios plans to re-release its top-grossing film, Avengers: Endgame, on September 25, 2026, setting the stage for the follow-up installment, Avengers: Doomsday, which will premiere later that year.

Disney has also rescheduled the 50th anniversary re-release of Star Wars: A New Hope, moving it from April 2027 to February 2027.
