Jenna Bush Hager Swears After Being Pranked by Matt Rogers

During a recent episode of Elles Phoning It In segment, Today show host Jenna Bush Hager was tricked by Las Culturistas co-host Matt Rogers, who pretended to be trapped in his dressing room. The prank occurred while Rogers was being interviewed and guests were invited to prank-call famous friends.

Rogers, who has previously co-hosted on Jenna & Friends, received a text from Bush Hager in the middle of his interview. You know who just texted me? Jenna Bush Hager. Should I call her? he said, before dialing her number. He feigned panic, claiming he was locked in his dressing room at Rockefeller Center.

Jenna, Im freaking out because I get claustrophobic, Rogers said. Bush Hager immediately showed concern: Wait, what? Can I call somebody for you? What do you do?

Rogers escalated the drama, pretending that authorities were unresponsive: Im literally calling 911, theyre not answering. The police arent answering! When asked if he was still at 30 Rock, he insisted, Im still in my little dressing room, and Im freaking out. I dont get scared a lot, but Im so scared, I cant breathe.

Bush Hager quickly sprang into action: Okay, hold on. Take a deep breath. Im calling Lily right now because they need to send security over for you. Rogers then confessed it was a joke, yelling, Okay, wait, stop, stop, stop! Its a prank call!

You are such a butt face! Bush Hager responded, laughing. Rogers later revealed that the prank was part of Elles challenge and that he was inspired to call her after she sent him a heartfelt text about their friendship. I was like, Lets get her! he said.

Bush Hager laughed and exclaimed, You f******g a******! I was calling somebody to save you!

Fans reacted enthusiastically after Elle shared the clip on Instagram, praising Bush Hagers quick response and genuine friendship.
