Jess Vestal from Love Is Blind is in the hospital

Jess, known from Netflix's Love Is Blind, revealed that she and her 12-year-old daughter, Autumn, recently suffered severe cases of the flu, which led to Jess being hospitalized. On December 2, she posted on Instagram, explaining that the illness had left their household completely incapacitated. Ive never been this sick in my life, she shared, highlighting the severity of her condition.

The 30-year-old actress faces additional challenges in recovery due to her Crohns disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel condition. Jess explained that her condition makes it harder for her body to fight infections and that she becomes dehydrated quickly. After a long ER visit, multiple IV fluids, medications, and lots of prayers, Im finally recovering, she wrote, adding that the experience was frightening and gave her a new appreciation for her health.

Autumns illness was also serious, as she was diagnosed with both strep throat and the flu simultaneously. Thankfully, Jess noted, her daughter recovered faster. She reflected on the difficulties of caring for a sick child while being ill herself, emphasizing the exhausting nature of the experience.

Jess also expressed disappointment that they couldnt take their traditional Thanksgiving photos together this year, but remained grateful for her family, her dog, and her supportive social media community.
