JoJo Siwa Updates on Health Status Following 911 Hospital Visit

JoJo Siwa is gradually recovering after being hospitalized last week due to a burst ovarian cyst. The 22-year-old performer previously explained that one of her ovaries had developed a cyst which ruptured, causing internal bleeding, according to Fox News.

On Tuesday, December 2, Siwa updated her fans on Instagram, sharing photos of herself in an ambulance and lying on a stretcher. She wrote, "Im happy to say Im doing a bit better. Im not in the clear yet, but feeling better and doing well!"

Despite her hospitalization, Siwa performed at a Black Friday event at the Mall of America later that same day after receiving pain relief, though she continues to manage the effects of the cyst.

She further detailed her condition in the Instagram post, stating, "I had a bit of a scare with a fever the night after I went to the hospital, but slept and woke up fever free and have been since! Resting when I can and drinking lots and lots of electrolytes! Keeping it pushing!" She also expressed gratitude to her supporters and wished everyone a happy start to December.

Earlier, Siwa shared that her mother called 911 when she experienced severe pain at home, which was worsened by a bath. Although her initial vitals were normal upon the ambulances arrival, the intensity of her pain prompted hospital admission, where doctors confirmed the cyst had burst.

Currently, Siwa is back home in the United States, continuing her work while apart from her boyfriend, English TV personality Chris Hughes.
