Katy Perry Makes Grand Debut of Relationship with Justin Trudeau on Instagram

One of the most unexpected celebrity pairings of the year has now been publicly confirmed on Instagram. On December 6, Katy Perry posted a carousel of photos from her recent trip to Japan, several of which included her new partner, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The pop star, 41, captioned the post, Tokyo times on tour and more ( ). The first video in the carousel shows a dancing Christmas tree, while the second is a sweet selfie of Perry with the 53-year-old politician in what seems to be a park. Other clips feature the couple enjoying a meal together in black and white and admiring a starry light display.

Perry was visiting Japan as part of her Lifetimes Tour, which began in Mexico City in April and will conclude in Abu Dhabi this December. During her trip, she and Trudeau visited former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife. In a photo shared on X, the foursome posed in front of a Christmas tree, and Kishida referred to Perry as Trudeaus partner in Japanese.

Their relationship reportedly began in July, shortly after news broke of Perrys split from her fianc of six years, Orlando Bloom. In October, the couple attended a cabaret performance at the iconic Crazy Horse club in Paris to celebrate Perrys birthday.
