Lacey Chabert is marking another milestone in her Hallmark career with the upcoming premiere of her 43rd film for the channel, Shes Making a List, airing on December 6 at 8 PM ET/PT, with streaming on Hallmark+ the following day. Known as the Queen of Christmas, Chabert also curates her own holiday collection, which includes cards and dcor. She shares that her Hallmark roles are especially meaningful because she can enjoy them with her 9-year-old daughter, Julia.

Its really rewarding to work on projects my daughter can watch, Chabert explains. Shes at that age where cuddling is her favorite thing, so we often curl up on the couch with a movie and some snacks. Julia particularly enjoys the glamorous outfits her mother wears on screen, joking that in real life, Chabert mostly wears black leggings.

Morning Routine

Chabert gives an inside look into her family mornings. She begins with coffee, savoring it briefly in bed, often using her favorite Minnie Mouse mug from Disneyland. I usually say a quick prayer to start the day positively, she shares. Breakfast for Julia varies from pancakes with whipped cream to cereal or yogurt, depending on the morning. Lunches are prepared daily by Chabert or her husband, David Nehdar, who take turns to balance responsibilities.

The family avoids television in the mornings, instead discussing the day ahead. Occasionally, Chabert allows Julia a yes day after school, letting her pick afternoon activities as a special treat. As a third grader, Julia has become independent, dressing herself while her mom opts for her usual comfortable attire. During the school commute, Julia chooses the music, often ranging from ABBA to Whitney Houston and the Sing 2 soundtrack.

Chabert describes the school drop-off: I give her a million kisses and a big hug, reminding her that being kind is more important than grades.

Me Time and Self-Care

After drop-off, Chabert enjoys long walks while listening to music or catching up with her sister and mother. She considers these moments rejuvenating. Her personal care routine includes a morning shower with Fresh Cream & Mint by Philosophy, nighttime baths, and skincare products like Aloisia Deep Hydration Aloe Gel Mist and iS Clinical Extreme Protect SPF 30. She also loves Ogee Complexion Perfecting Tinted Serum for a hydrating, glowing coverage.

Chabert notes that as a mom, she has streamlined her beauty routine from over an hour to about seven minutes, embracing a more flexible morning schedule. I focus on the most important tasks and take things one step at a time, she says. Giving myself grace makes the day so much better.
