Mother Teaches Her 17-Month-Old Daughter a Valuable Lesson about Britney Spears — and the Internet Can't Get Enough (Exclusive)

Sara Cunningham recently shared a charming Instagram video showing her 17-month-old daughter, Sloane, learning about pop icon Britney Spears and the clip quickly went viral. In the video, Sara guides her toddler through Spears' career using a collection of figurines representing the singers most famous looks.

Are you ready for a very important lesson? Sara asks Sloane, who eagerly nods. She introduces each figurine, explaining the different eras of Britney's career. This is Toxic Britney. Can you say Toxic? she prompts. Then pointing to another figure, she says, That is Slave 4 U Britney. And this snakes name is Banana. Thats from the VMAs. Can you say Banana?

The duo also explores Oops!... I Did It Again Britney, featuring a red jumpsuit, and Hit Me Baby One More Time Britney, dressed in a schoolgirl outfit. The lesson concludes with Sara asking Sloane to name the star, and the toddler responds with a sweet attempt: Bity.

Sara, a lifelong Britney fan, regularly plays the singer's music at home. She explains, I play a lot of Britney Spears at home, in the car, everywhere. Ive seen her live many times and even attended her Vegas residency. Britney has always been a big part of my life. Sara, who is also a singer, used to perform Britneys songs herself and now watches her children, Sloane and her 3-year-old son Kian, do the same. Kian knows a lot of Britney music and will request her songs. 'Alexa! Play Oops Britney with the astronaut!'

This isnt the first time Sloane has been introduced to Britney. I do it all the time, Sara says. We sit on the floor, go through numbers, letters, animals, and sounds. Ive taught her the different Britneys several times, but that day I just recorded it, and it blew up!

The figurines were a gift from Saras friend, who discovered them at Target. My friend Kylee got them for her daughters. We had a playdate, and I said, 'I have to have these!' The next week she bought them for Sloane thats a good friend, Sara shared.

Before becoming a mom, Sara was a working actor, and she continues to value music and performance in her family. I hope my kids develop a passion for the arts. Theater was my sanctuary as a child, helping me release fear and anxiety. Whether they choose sports or art, I hope they find their own sanctuary, she says.

Looking ahead, Sara plans to introduce Sloane to another music legend. Ive been talking to my kids about Max Martin, the mastermind behind so much '90s and 2000s pop. Everyone should know him, even 17-month-old babies, she adds with a smile.
