The fifth and final season of Stranger Things has officially begun, and this time, the release approach is unlike anything before. When Does the Final Season Air?
The ultimate season of Stranger Things is divided into three parts. Volume 1 premiered on Wednesday, November 26, featuring four of the seasons eight episodes. Volume 2 is set to release on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, at 8/7c, bringing three more episodes. The season finale will air on New Years Eve, Wednesday, December 31, at 8/7c, completing the eight-episode journey.

Subscribers to Netflix can stream Volume 1 at home, and Volume 2 will be available the same way. The finale will also be accessible via Netflix, but for fans seeking the ultimate experience, the final episode will be shown in over 500 select theaters nationwide from December 31, 2025, to January 1, 2026. What to Expect From the Final Season
Season 5 picks up in the fall of 1987, with Hawkins under military quarantine due to the Rifts opening beneath the town. The heroes face the challenge of stopping Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) while Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) goes into hiding once again. With the anniversary of Wills disappearance looming, the tension escalates toward a climactic showdown where the fate of key characters remains uncertain.
