New York Film Critics Circle Announcing 2025 Winners (Updating Live)

The New York Film Critics Circle (NYFCC) has started its voting process for this years annual awards. In 2024, the organization selected The Brutalist as the best film.

NYFCC 2025 Awards Updates

About the NYFCC

Established in 1935, the NYFCC is composed of critics from newspapers, magazines, and verified online publications. Every December, members gather in New York to vote on films released in the prior year.

Alongside standard categories such as Best Picture, Director, Actor, and Actress, the group presents special awards to recognize outstanding contributions to cinema. These honors celebrate achievements by producers, directors, writers, actors, critics, historians, and film preservationists.

Winners will be formally honored in New York in January.
