The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, claimed the entertainer owed $139,849.85 after allegedly failing to make payments on his account since May. Neither Ray J nor his platform has publicly responded to the lawsuit.

Ray Js arrest occurred after a viral livestream in which he allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened his estranged wife, Princess Love. The couple, who share two children, are navigating their fourth divorce filing. Princess Love later addressed the incident in a video titled "Enough is enough", expressing concern for her childrens safety and suggesting she may seek sole custody to protect them.

Princess Love explained that she intended for the children to spend Thanksgiving with Ray J but would not leave them unsupervised. She alleged that during a previous visit, the children encountered him inappropriately with another woman. After being taken into custody for making a criminal threat, he posted a $50,000 bond and shared his experience via livestream, recounting chaotic jail conditions and advising followers to avoid incarceration.

Ray J also remains embroiled in long-standing legal issues related to his 2007 sex tape with Kim Kardashian. He previously filed a countersuit against Kris Jenner and Kim, claiming they initially agreed to release the footage but later shifted blame to him.
