Kim Kardashian remembers Ye accusing her of pretending about her 2016 robbery: 'A Knife to My Heart'

Kim Kardashian opened up emotionally about her ex-husband Ye (formerly Kanye West) allegedly suggesting she staged her 2016 Paris robbery for a television show. The recent installment of The Kardashians, released on Thursday, December 4, revisits the harrowing events of that robbery, with Kim returning to Paris to confront the memories.

Although she did not explicitly name Ye, it is widely understood she was referring to her husband at the time. Kim and Ye married in 2014, and she filed for divorce in 2021, finalized in 2022.

My ex-husband had said, And you faked your robbery for a TV show, and had said that in front of all these people, she shared through tears. That was a knife to my heart. Just to think that someone wouldnt believe you thats so close to you, that should know you, that should know how much that affected your life it just really bothered me. You dont know who I am.

During the October 2016 robbery, Ye was performing at Meadows Fest in Queens, New York, and abruptly ended his set due to a family emergency upon learning of Kims situation in Paris. Armed thieves tied her up in the bathroom and stole $10 million in jewelry.

Reflecting on the trial, Kim added, To finally be able to go to trial and face these people and hear their accounts and apologies, Im like, see, guys. It was real. Im happy its over.

Nearly ten years later, eight of the ten suspects involved in the Paris robberyseven men and one womanwere convicted in May, receiving prison terms ranging from three to eight years. Two individuals were acquitted.
