Kim Kardashian in Tears as Kanye West Accuses Her of Faking Paris Robbery

Kim Kardashian has spoken candidly about one of the most traumatic experiences of her life and the emotional aftermath it triggered. On the December 4 episode of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old star recounted the terrifying 2016 Paris hotel robbery, during which she was held at gunpoint and tied up in a bathtuba night that left her fearing for the safety of her children.

Earlier this year, cameras captured Kardashians return to Paris as she confronted the perpetrators in court for the first time. During the episode, she and her family discussed the public doubt and conspiracy theories that circulated in the years following the incident.

Kardashian reflected on the criticism she faced from media figures. Howard Stern often mocked the event, saying it was just me being dramatic or making it up, she recalled. He was so certain, and I thought, How can you be that sure? People trusted him.

Her mother, Kris Jenner, 70, also shared her perspective: Reputable sources were spreading the idea that her story wasnt true, which was really hurtful.

The hardest moment for Kardashian came when her then-husband, Kanye West, reportedly questioned her account. Even my ex-husband suggested that I faked the robbery for television, and he said it in front of others. That felt like a knife to my heart, she said, breaking down in tears. To think someone so close wouldnt believe me, knowing the impact it had on my life, was deeply painful.

Facing the court proceedings brought some closure. Going to trial, hearing the perpetrators accounts and apologies, made me feel validated. It confirmed that what happened was real. Im glad its finally behind me, she said.

Kardashian testified in Paris in May. Eight individuals were convicted for their roles in the theft of over $6 million in jewelry, receiving prison sentences ranging from three to eight years, while two others were acquitted.
