Stephen Colbert Breaks Down Trump's Unpopularity

On Tuesday, "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert ridiculed President Donald Trump for presenting Americans with a challenging outlook for 2025. Colbert opened his program by referencing a recent Gallup survey showing the president's approval rating had dropped to 36%, marking the lowest point of his second term, while his disapproval climbed to 60%.

"Thats why Trump has apparently adopted a new slogan: More Popular Than Syphilis," Colbert joked, displaying a parody image of the presidents MAGA hat. "Unfortunately, penicillin wont fix this one!"

Colbert further remarked that Trump was lagging behind across multiple areas, citing a YouGov poll highlighting the presidents unpopularity on topics including the economy, health care, the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, education, and environmental issues.

He continued with humor, saying, "It turns out Donald Trump is also the least favored Zootopia character, ranks as the lowest-rated mid-sized sedan, and is even the unliked Oreo flavor: Double-Stuf Cankle."
