White Supremacist Nick Fuentes Claims Responsibility for Trump's Surprise Strike on Somalis

White nationalist figure Nick Fuentes has claimed credit for President Donald Trumps recent incendiary comments targeting the Somali-American community during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. Fuentes, a central figure in ongoing tensions within the MAGA movement over Tucker Carlsons recent engagement with him, asserted that Trump yielded to his influence by labeling Somalis as garbage and expressing a desire to block their entry into the U.S.

Speaking to his Groyper followers, Fuentes explained that applying pressure and threatening to withdraw support is what compels politicians to act according to their demands. This is why we need to be vocal, make ourselves seen, and show our discontent. When we do that, Trump responds, Fuentes said in a clip first highlighted by RightWingWatch. He praised Trump for delivering exactly what he anticipated, comparing it to the 2016 campaign strategy and claiming responsibility for steering Trumps approach.

During the Cabinet meeting, Trump made several pointed remarks about Somali immigrants, stating, I dont want them in our country. Their countrys no good for a reason. Their country stinks, and we dont want them in our country. He further emphasized his belief that the U.S. is at a pivotal moment, warning that continued immigration from groups he deemed undesirable could harm the nation.

Trump specifically named Rep. Ilhan Omar, asserting she and her associates are garbage and criticizing them for what he described as a lack of productivity and constant complaints. On Wednesday, Trump reiterated his stance in the Oval Office, expressing a desire to expel Omar from the United States.
