Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster turned heads with their coordinated black ensembles as they made another appearance during awards season. The pair, who recently confirmed their relationship, arrived at the 35th annual Gotham Awards, where Jackman was honored with the Musical Tribute award.
Red Carpet Glamour
On Monday, December 1, Jackman and Foster graced the Gotham Awards red carpet. Jackman opted for a sharp black suit paired with a classic tie, while Foster wore a glittering black sequined dress, creating a striking, harmonized look together.
The ceremony took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City and celebrated several honorees, including Kate Hudson, Jackmans co-star in the upcoming film Song Sung Blue. In the movie, Jackman portrays Mike Sardina, nicknamed Lightning, while Hudson plays Claire Sardina, or Thunder, a real-life musician duo known for their Neil Diamond tribute performances. The film is scheduled for release on December 25.
A Blossoming Romance
Jackman and Fosters relationship has drawn attention since January when they were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles. The actors previously shared the stage in the 2022 Broadway revival of The Music Man. Their first official red carpet appearance as a couple occurred on October 26 at AFI Fest, where Foster also supported Jackman at the Song Sung Blue premiere.
Both have experienced significant personal changes recently. Jackman finalized his divorce from Deborra-lee Furness in June after 27 years of marriage, while Foster filed for divorce from Ted Griffin in October 2024 after ten years together. Despite these transitions, insiders report that their relationship has grown stronger. A source told People that the couple is in love and genuinely excited to walk the carpet together, adding that the drama is behind them now, and theyve built a strong foundation of trust.
Looking Ahead
With Song Sung Blue set to premiere soon, Jackmans awards-season momentum continues, and Foster remains a supportive presence by his side.
