The couple revisited The Paris Theater, the location where they first met, commemorating the occasion with sentimental photos. Among the attendees were stylist Brad Goreski and his husband, TV writer Gary Janetti.

Cuoco detailed her birthday experiences in an Instagram post on Monday, December 1. She reflected on both a surprise West Coast party and an intimate East Coast dinner. this is 40 , she captioned the post, adding, What a year, what a decade, what a life! She described enjoying cocktails and laughter with friends and Pelphrey, dressed in a halter neck top, loose pants, and platform heels for the celebration.

In her post, Cuoco conveyed deep appreciation for her life and the people in it. I feel so grateful for every moment I have, and the crazy road that led me to this moment in time. I adore my family, friends (and animals) . Thanks to each of you for making this very special birthday feel extra extra special, she wrote.

Cuoco also acknowledged Pelphrey for his devotion, writing, Thank you for always going the extra mile to make me feel like the most loved girl on this planet. How lucky I am to live this life with you .

She shared another Instagram Story showing the couple holding hands in front of The Paris Theater, noting, @paristheaternyc is so special to me and @tommypelphrey this is where we met 3 years ago. Pelphrey also shared a photo at the theater, captioning it, Where it all began
