Millie Bobby Brown reveals her new married name, one year after marrying Jon Bon Jovi's son

Actress Millie Bobby Brown, famous for her role in Stranger Things, has officially updated her name after marrying Jake Bongiovi. While promoting the fifth season of the hit series alongside her co-star and her daughter's godfather, Noah Schnapp, the 21-year-old star revealed the change during an interview.

During a YouTube interview with VT, Schnapp attempted to recall Brown's full name. Millie corrected him, explaining that her new legal name is Millie Bonnie Bongiovi. She clarified, "Drop the Bobby. Drop the Brown. Its just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi."

Brown and Bongiovi announced their engagement in April 2023 and were married in May 2024. At the time of their wedding, Brown was 20 and Bongiovi was 22, which sparked some online discussion. Reflecting on their age, Brown told British Vogue, "I understood I was young I know that. When you meet that person, you just know."

The couple welcomed their daughter through adoption this past summer. On the Smartless podcast, Brown shared that becoming a young mother was always part of her plan. "My mom had her first child at 21, my dad was 19. I wanted to be a mom in a similar way," she said.

Speaking with Vogue, Brown described the adoption process as an "amazing journey," adding, "Shes taught us so much already. Perspective is huge. The little things in life feel so much more precious. Our days are filled with cuddles, laughter, and love."

Brown emphasized that she and her husband share parenting responsibilities equally. "We are 50-50 on everything. Im so grateful to have partnered with him in this life he is an incredible dad," she said.

The family resides on a farm in Georgia, living a hands-on lifestyle with animals and farm chores. Brown clarified to Vanity Fair that their life on the farm is not about aesthetics or social media trends, but about genuine passion. "Im not doing it for the aesthetic. I love this life. Its chaotic and messy, but thats where I thrive," she explained.
