Author stands by source in claim involving First Lady Melania, Donald Trump, and Jeffrey Epstein

An investigative journalist has maintained his stance on how the current US President met his wife. Andrew Lownie has faced criticism for suggesting that Donald Trump was introduced to Melania Trump by Jeffrey Epstein. The First Lady has threatened legal action over these claims, demanding a billion-dollar lawsuit.

Despite the threats, the British historian has not altered his view. He points out that Donald Trump and the late financier had both social and professional interactions and were photographed together on numerous occasions.

A source told Lownie that Jeffrey Epstein introduced Donald Trump to his wife, Melania.

Although this detail no longer appears in Lownies bestselling book, he insists it remains true according to his research. The claim was initially included in his book The Rise and Fall of the House of York, which primarily focuses on former Prince Andrew. Subsequent editions have removed the passage concerning Epstein, but Lownie continues to stand by the information provided by his source.

My source has proven reliable in all previous information, Lownie told RadarOnline, adding that the details were thoroughly verified.

Other writers have touched on similar ideas. Biographer Michael Wolff mentioned that Epstein was familiar with Melania through modeling circles. However, this account conflicts with the First Ladys own recollection. In her memoir, Melania describes meeting Donald at New York Citys fashion week in 1998 at the Kit Kat Club. She recalls that Donald approached her despite having a striking blonde companion by his side, and she was immediately drawn to his charm.

Donald and Melania Trump have now been married for over two decades and have one son, Barron. Recently, the First Lady expressed her frustration toward Donalds son Eric after he mentioned Barron on a talk show.
