President Donald Trump recently intensified his criticism of Senator Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), drawing attention from both supporters and critics. Kelly, a former Navy fighter pilot and NASA astronaut, along with five other Democratic lawmakers, released a video urging U.S. military members to refuse unlawful orders.

In response, Trump accused the lawmakers of engaging in seditious behavior, shared content about executions, and posted on Truth Social: Mark Kelly and the group of Unpatriotic Politicians were WRONG to do what they did, and they know it! I hope the people looking at them are not duped into thinking that its OK to openly and freely get others to disobey the President of the United States! While Trump's supporters celebrated his comments, many critics highlighted an important distinction the president overlooked: the lawmakers advised troops to resist only illegal orders, not orders from Trump personally.
