Federal Judge Orders Release of Epstein Grand Jury Documents

New details are set to emerge regarding Jeffrey Epsteins legal cases. On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Rodney Smith, appointed by former President Trump, directed that previously confidential grand jury transcripts from the 2005 and 2007 investigations into Epstein be made public.

The decision follows the enactment of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, championed by Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna.

Judge Smiths ruling states: The United States seeks to unseal the grand jury materials in this case and publicly release them, as well as lift any preexisting protective orders that would prevent the Department of Justice from releasing the materials. The Act applies to unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials that relate to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The release of these documents marks a significant step toward transparency in the high-profile investigations surrounding Epstein.
