Woman known for her ability to make friends everywhere dies in a crash

An 87-year-old great-grandmother, known for her friendly nature and ability to connect with everyone she met, has tragically passed away after a collision involving her mobility scooter and a car.
Connie Fish died in hospital after the incident occurred on Manchester Road West in Little Hulton, Salford, at approximately 11:15 GMT on 27 November.
Her family described her as a source of joy and laughter, saying she "adored her family and brightened the lives of all who knew her." They highlighted her humor, thoughtfulness, and the remarkable talent she had for making friends wherever she went.
Greater Manchester Police are requesting anyone with information or dashcam footage related to the crash to come forward.
Her relatives expressed their gratitude for the support they have received, emphasizing the impact of her warmth and kindness on the wider community. "Everyone who met her loved her, and her presence brought immense happiness to others," they said.
