Praise for paramedic care following ambulance crash

An ambulance service has expressed gratitude to hospital staff for providing outstanding medical support after three paramedics were injured in a collision in Cheshire.

The incident occurred at approximately 20:30 GMT on Friday, 28 November, when an ambulance responding to an emergency call was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Eardswick Lane in Crewe.

According to North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), two paramedics with serious injuries are still receiving care at Royal Stoke Hospital, while a third has already been released following treatment.

The service confirmed it is offering assistance to both the families and colleagues of those affected, adding thanks to everyone who shared messages of support. No patient was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Cheshire Police is requesting witnesses or video evidence to help determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
