74-year-old man arrested after committing a stabbing

Police have taken a 74-year-old man into custody on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm after a stabbing occurred in a residence on Station Road in Devizes.

The incident took place at approximately 17:30 GMT on Wednesday. According to authorities, the male victim sustained significant injuries but is not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.

Officials confirmed that the suspect has been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.
