Children injured when school bus roof torn off by bridge

Multiple children sustained injuries when the roof of a school bus was torn off after striking a low bridge. The incident took place on Spendmore Lane in Coppull, Lancashire, around 12:30 GMT.
Paramedics are currently evaluating the children at the scene. Lancashire Police reported that the injuries are believed to be mostly minor.
Emergency services continue to manage the site, and the road remains closed while the situation is being handled.
