A Warwickshire police officer has been formally charged with stealing valuables, including money and jewellery, while performing his official duties. The officer, PC Robert Davies, 48, is set to face magistrates at Warwick Justice Centre, accused of committing three separate acts of theft.
The alleged incidents are said to have occurred between November 2023 and February 2025, according to a statement from the Independent Office for Police Conduct. Following an internal investigation by the force, Davies has been summoned to appear in court on Friday.
