Another suspect detained in murder case

Kent Police have confirmed that a second person has been apprehended as part of an ongoing investigation into a fatal stabbing that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.

Authorities responded to reports of an assault at a residence on Thorold Road in Chatham around 03:10 GMT. A 19-year-old man, who had sustained stab wounds, was pronounced dead at the location. Police have informed his next of kin.

Later on the same day, an 18-year-old man from Greenford, London, was taken into custody. He is being held alongside a 32-year-old man from Chatham, who had been arrested earlier on Tuesday.

Police are appealing to anyone with information, witnesses, or relevant footage to come forward. Information can be shared with Kent Police or the independent charity Crimestoppers.
